School camps can be structured ad hoc based on the educational needs of teachers, combining outdoor sports activities, various workshops, and guided tours listed in our environmental education brochure. The methods and topics of naturalistic, historical, and cultural in-depth studies will be agreed upon with the teachers. All programs can be structured over 4 or more days upon request.

Recommended equipment for excursions: hiking shoes, sweater or fleece, raincoat, hat, water bottle, a small backpack.

In case of bad weather, the school camp program may be modified. Alternative activities include educational workshops, visits to museums and/or local businesses.

Gaia’s WELCOME project is aimed at first-year classes of schools of all levels, in order to facilitate relationships between new students through outdoor activities in nature and the sharing and management of other activities, such as cooking for themselves, setting up their own accommodations, bedsheets, etc.

All of this takes place at affiliated accommodations in the Sibillini Mountains National Park with a series of activities such as rafting and adventure courses in purely natural settings, specifically on the Corno River (Serravalle di Norcia) and Lake Fiastra.

The 2-day or longer school camp is offered to first-year classes of schools of all levels in the months of September and October.

Students from different backgrounds have the opportunity to get to know each other and understand through this experience the importance and necessity of collaboration.

In our opinion, this is the most effective module for transforming a class into a close-knit group, without processes of homogenization but rather through the contribution of different individual personalities.
