Learning from Nature: Educational Field Experiences
All programs are characterized by direct experience with the natural environment.
In fact, what we offer is a wide range of outdoor activities through which we introduce students to the unique features of the environments we find ourselves in (river, lake, forest, valley, rural environment, etc.).
For example, after an enjoyable rafting descent in the Corno river valley (fun), we focus on the main characteristics of the river environment (learning): its trees, the appearance of the valley, the composition of stones in the riverbed, and so on.
With this approach, year after year, we have seen that we can maintain the students’ attention and engage them, reducing the risk of boredom compared to other classic lessons of pure teaching.
The programs can be structured over one or more days, as desired, based on your school’s needs.
One-Day Proposals
Each day excursion can be preceded by one or more preparatory lessons in the classroom. The methods and topics will be agreed upon with the teachers.
Multi-Day School Camps
Below are two examples of multi-day school camps with accommodation in the Monti Sibillini National Park.
Welcome Project
Aimed at first-year classes of every school to promote relationships between students with activities in nature and moments of sharing, such as cooking and managing accommodations.
